Design Brief

To add a new dimension to the "Gaming Room" lighting using RGB LED linear strips for special effect and general ambience.Our LED feature ceiling also had to have the ability and flexibility to be pre-programmable and interchangeable on call.Most importantly the entire LED ceiling had to be linked with the "Gaming Machine jackpot system" We had to independently pre-program three lighting scenes for three levels of jackpot small, medium, large this meant a lot of time was spent writing software for each jackpot, which meant a lot of work had to done even before lighting equipment was brought to site.

Design Solution

405 individual 500mm long RGB LED strips had to be pre-wired, connected and fixed to the ceiling, which meant 1620 actual connections were needed, as they say Rome wasn’t built in a day. Several days were required to test and commission the installation to ensure all 405 x 500mm RGB LED sections were address and doing as they were told by the master controller, once this was achieved it was time to play. WOW factor is the best way to describe the end result and is truly a project we have taken great pleasure in executing. Working with professional such as Paul Kelly is always a challenge and an adventure in itself, it’s truly a pleasure working alongside him and his team.A practical and visually stunning result that satisfied all the requirements of the design brief.
